Ford Prefect 1951

This lovey Ford Prefect was supplied from new in 1951 and registered in the Netherlands in 1956. The Ford Prefect came out of the English Ford branch and was produced in England. This series 1 has a 10 Hp engine. This version, already in production before the war, predates later versions that were given a ‘new nose’ with integrated headlights.

A few years ago this Ford underwent a complete overhaul and restoration. The nice bodywork has fine and well-fitted body panels. The underbody is in a good and rust-free state. The interior trim is in a superb looked-after condition and is perfect. Finding a series 1 Prefect is a rarity, especially one in such a finely restored condition.
